WRMD on the Road
After the 2015 NWRA Symposium in Princeton, New Jersey, we headed out on the road to visit a few centers on the East Coast. Whenever we travel we try to visit other wildlife rehabilitators and wildlife rehabilitation facilities. The more places we visit the more we learn about how wildlife rehab is done the same and or differently throughout the world.
Extension of the Month: Paper Forms
This months extension of the month were going to talk about Paper Forms. Paper forms are a great way to use both WRMD as well as paper records to help you transition from a more familiar way of keep records into a more advanced way.
2015 NWRA Symposium
New Jersey is a long way from home for the WRMD team, but we felt right at home at the 2015 NWRA symposium. It is such a wonderful experience to meet the people that we have been communicating with for years.
The Issue with Common Names
I received a message today about the “real name” or “common name” for a black-tailed deer. We get questions about common names frequently enough that I thought it would be a good blog topic.
