A Little Love Story

In honor of Valentine’s Day, we wanted to take some time to gush over two people that we love.

Doris Duncan, long time WNDP board member and executive director of Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue, recently provided a private tour of SCWR’s facility for Rachel, Devin and our wonderful volunteer product designer, Gina Ionin.

This tour provided a chance for Gina to finally meet Rachel and Devin in person! Gina came to WNDP a couple of years ago after she stumbled across the WNDP website, became inspired and reached out to ask if she could volunteer her expertise to the project. Since then, Gina has been an invaluable asset to WNDP and has contributed to many of our projects and systems. We are incredibly grateful for her contributions!

Gina is an experienced product designer that currently works in financial technology creating rules engines to detect risk and fraud. Her main priority when designing, is to create user-friendly and user-centered systems; making her the perfect fit to assist with our user friendly database systems.

We’d like to thank Doris for taking the time out of her very busy schedule to provide this tour for our team. Doris is not only an essential WNDP board member; she is also responsible for significant contributions from Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue that have been instrumental in shaping and supporting us as our organization has grown.

We would not be where we are today without these two individuals. Thank you Gina and Doris for everything that you do to support WRMD and The Wild Neighbors Database Project!
