Carolyn is a nonprofit leader, strategic advisor, and former corporate executive with extensive experience in organizational leadership, governance, finance, and operations. She previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Red Hat and has held senior leadership roles across technology and business organizations for more than 30 years.

Carolyn is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Elizabeth & Patrick Nash Foundation, where she helps advance research, education, and community support initiatives. She is passionate about strengthening mission-driven organizations and has dedicated significant time to philanthropy, volunteer leadership, and community engagement. Through her work with Wild Neighbors, she brings expertise in strategy, organizational development, fundraising, and board governance to support the organization's mission of helping people and wildlife coexist successfully.
