Brittany Mead
Manager, Development and Communications

Brittany brings over 11 years of development and fundraising experience to the Wild Neighbors Database Project. Before joining WNDP, she spent much of her career in development at the Houston Zoo, where she helped raise critical support for wildlife-saving conservation programs around the world.

With a lifelong passion for wildlife, Brittany earned her Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University and spent time working as a zookeeper. Her experiences guided her toward a career focused on connecting donors with the conservation causes they value.

Brittany lives in Houston with her husband, son, and two large rescue dogs. She is excited to continue strengthening WNDP’s fundraising and communications efforts as the organization moves into its next chapter of growth and innovation.
